[Pkg-bazaar-maint] Run tests on all architectures, using compiled extensions

I have a small change I'd like to push to the bzr/unstable branch to:

* Run testsuite on bzr including compiled extensions.
* Run testsuite on all architectures, not just when doing an
  architecture-independent build.
