[Pkg-blender-maintainers] Ubuntu Package

Hello everybody,

I am the person at Ubuntu who syncs your nicely packaged blender packages,
and I thought maybe we can improve the process somehow.

At the moment I simply take current Debian versions, sync them, and eventually 
apply Ubuntu patches. In the case of 2.43 I decided to use your CVS version, 
which will hopefully reach unstable or experimental soon.

I know that the current process does not help Debian much, and that should 
change. One simple thing that I can imagine, is that I simply file a Debian 
bug for every patch applied to the Ubuntu Blender package. Our patch count is 
zero at the moment, but that could change with time.

If you have other ideas (I am sure you have some), please reply.
