> Hi dear buildd admins,

Dear admins... but no answer at all. Since the release is coming closer,
I'm trying to find some alternatives to the unsync'd 2.42a-5etch1
package.

As a first option, we could think of a proper security upload, but that
would be quite a mess, since there would be 2.42a-5, the same with
"etch1" appended, and the security upload. And that wouldn't warrant a
successful build...

As a second option, ask the RM to push 2.42a-6 anyway, since this
version contains the security fix and is built everywhere. I'm really
unsure that they'll be OK with that one, but that would be "safer" than
attempting a security build on testing...

[I know, that would be cool to be able to upload directly into testing,
e.g. if later security uploads are needed. But we would have more time
than some days (see d-d-a, the release is said to be quite soon) to find
the reasons why Blender isn't compiling on testing for some archs.]

Cheers,
