I just discover your efforts to port last bluez version to debian.
This is a good news.
I tried your packages from experimental on i386 and it seems to work.

Do you have any idea when your packages will migrate from experimental
to unstable ?

Concerning migration from 3.* to 4.*, you need to take a look to
kdebluetooth packages too because it need a dedicate version du to api
modification. You can find a packaged version on ubuntu repository
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebluetooth 1:0.3 version). I
believe others packages will need evolution as API change a lot.
File configurations have change (hcid.conf to main.conf) and I think
package could take information from old one to create new
configuration or inform user.

I am interesting helping you to provide lastest version of bluez to
debian. How can I help ?
