Thanks, this should be integrated on experimental branch, 
today I uploaded the experimental version to unstable, this will
leave plenty space to upload 6.4.5 to experimental, hope it happens
soon.

I'll merging experimental-6.4.5 on experimental this week, and then
integrate your patch, on experimental-6.4.5 there are already some
changes from your package already committed :)

Yes, I notice this, and actually I did have an entry on my personal TODO
to investigate this.
