hello,
im currently running it (6.10.56) with followings commands:

elhoir at maquetaapd:~/Descargas$ sh boinc_6.10.56_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh 
use /home/elhoir/Descargas/BOINC/run_manager to start BOINC
elhoir at maquetaapd:~/Descargas$ cd BOINC/
elhoir at maquetaapd:~/Descargas/BOINC$ ./run_manager 


BOINC hasnt crashed, its running correctly.....
