BOINC 7.6.12 stdoutdae and stderrdae no longer used?

Running under Raspbian/Debian Stretch. Installed boinc-client package (7.6.12+dfsg-1. Shut down the client to clean up the log files as they (on previuos release) grow unbounded. Removed the files std*.txt from the /var/lib/boinc-client folder as usual. Restart client. It no longer creates stdoutdae.txt or stderrdae.txt files. Can't find them doing a "sudo find / -iname stdoutdae.txt"

Have repeated steps on a 2nd Raspberry Pi'2. Same behaviour.

Have sent email to Gianfranco advising of same issue. Note that it doesn't do this on Gianfranco's Ubuntu builds (the files are present), so would appear to be a Debian packaging issue.

Cheers,
MarkJ
