[pkg-boost-devel] Re: Pyste - new Debian package

Hi,

I believe the pyste package was added due to a user request, albeit a
three-year old request
[http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=189839]. I see no
problem in having the functionality as long as it is useful and
maintained by upstream (even if not developed).

As for Py++ : I'm all for including useful functionality. The first
step would be for you to file a request for packaging (if not already
done). See http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/

That said, I'm no longer actively maintaining the Debian boost
packages; so I'm forwarding this to those who are.

Regards,
-Steve
