[pkg-boost-devel] Bug#454605: build against new icu 3.8 packages (libicu-dev)

Package: boost
Severity: wishlist

Current version of boost is using icu 3.6 which makes it depend on 32 bits
code on amd64, if it is linked with icu 3.8 (you just need to change the
build dependencies from libicu36-dev to libicu-dev) then the code doesn't
depend anymore on the 32 bits code and there is no need to install at least
the following 32 bits libs: lib32gcc1 lib32icu36 lib32stdc++6 libc6-i386

I have just built boost against libicu-dev without any problem to get
twinkle to compile without the dependency on those 32 bits libraries, it
built ok and seems to work ok as well.

Regards!
