bjam _is_ frightening :)

try with version 1.34.0~beta1-1, it is in the archive but is not shown...
remove bjam and boost-build packages, they are not required.

version 1.34.0~beta1-2, which is also present, requires a recent g++-4.1
which surely ubuntu 6.04 has not.
