I tagged it because I have been working on this issue and am close to
finishing.  At this point, it's a matter of building the packages to
shake out the remaining bugs in the python update scripts.  I believe
I can finish once I find a block of 4 hours to work on this.

If I can't get this done in a couple of days, I'll upload what I have
to the SVN repository for others to help with.
