Source: boost-defaults
Version: 1.49.0.1
Severity: normal

When attepting to upgrade Boost apt/dpkg failed multiple times with
similar errors on a number of the packages containing libraries. This is
the error from libboost-chrono1.49-dev:

Unpacking libboost-chrono1.49-dev (from .../libboost-chrono1.49-dev_1.49.0-1_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libboost-chrono1.49-dev_1.49.0-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/libboost_chrono.a', which is also in package libboost-chrono1.48-dev 1.48.0-3
configured to not write apport reports
                                      Preparing to replace libboost-chrono-dev 1.48.0.3 (using .../libboost-chrono-dev_1.49.0.1_amd64.deb)
Unpacking replacement libboost-chrono-dev ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libboost-chrono1.49-dev_1.49.0-1_amd64.deb

Repeatedly using apt-get -f install finally fixed it.
