Hi!

[Adding pkg-cinnamon-team at lists.alioth.debian.org as CC]

Sorry for the delay in replying, we had a bunch of very busy days, but we
haven't forgotten about cinnamon, we've already done work to address your
concerns.

Every change starts somewhere, the recently created pkg-cinnamon-team already
has 6 members, there are some recent commits in the package repositories that
were not prepared by Maxy or me, and some users have already pinged us about how
to help us with testing the packages. So we expect to have quite an active
group.

Yes, this was a mistake. It was the last package that we prepared, after a
couple of long days of work, we used the upstream debian directory as a base,
and then we forgot to update the copyright. We have already fixed this issue in
our repos and have been working on other issues that we identified in the
meantime.

Please go ahead and reject: cinnamon-menus, cinnamon-bluetooth,
cinnamon-control-center, cinnamon-screensaver and cinnamon-settings-daemon.
We will re-upload the fixed versions afterwards.

We certainly intend to. The starting step is always the most difficult, but we
feel that we are on track. We have both family and work interests in
maintaining these packages, and we do want to keep at it for the long term.
