<p> Sorry, I should have checked on multiple browsers before posting the bug report.  This bug appears when using Firefox, but not when using Opera.  It's therefore possible that the fault lies with Firefox (although it is also possible that Opera is spotting and correcting an error that /is/ caused by Webcit).  In addition to bugs 712391 and 712392, I noticed a number of other problems using Webcit with Firefox, rendering the system extremely hard to use with that browser.  This probably bears investigation, and I can submit the additional problems as Webcit bugs if that seems appropriate.</p>
