Clearly we do not want to migrate the commits list.

For the -devel list, as told previously, I requested a list on lists.debian.org
(see #886846). IMO this would be a better option, because such a list would be
permanent, while the lists migrated at alioth-lists.debian.net are only
temporary in nature (probably a couple of years).

I suggest that you reply by saying that we requested a list at
lists.debian.org, with the bug reference, and that we will only need the
migration if our request for a new list is rejected.
