I may attempt that; I've also thought of just converting them all by
hand into *.1 files, and so avoiding the need for all the pod2man stuff
completely. It would be nice to shrink debian/rules back down :)

But for now, after a useful chat with Jordan, I decided it was more
important to just get our packages "out there" so they can be uploaded
into Debian experimental (and hopefully into unstable before too long).
As you saw, I also added the tei2mod stuff (which we somehow had missed
earlier), and I wrote a quick man page for that. Thanks for all those
man pages you wrote, too!

I also killed off some of my own ~jmarsden/* bzr branches from LP, and
made sure everything I have done for this project is now in the team (
i.e. ~pkgcrosswire ) bzr. I'd like to get bzr to automatically send
commit messages to this list, but so far I can't find a straightforward
way to do it, so I'm just forwarding the commit msgs that it sends to me
on to the list, by hand. The idea of that is just to help everyone see
exactly what is happening as we work on the packages.

I also deleted several "side" branches in the ~pkgcrosswire stuff,
things that were already merged into main. We had so many, it was hard
to see what was still useful.

Are you able to package up Xiphos 3.0.1 soon? If not, would you mind if
I give that a try, updating your earlier work? I'd love to have *all*
our packages at least ready for upload into Debian experimental...
hopefully after that we can get some or all of them into unstable.

Jonathan
