I've tried to create symbols file. It worked on the i386 but I've had
compile errors on AMD64 and I failed at making a nested symbols file.
On top of that upstream doesn't maintain one or wants to. They version
library with release number, hence in the past each release was a
so-name bump as like. like this time.

Library is written in C++ and hence the symbols file is quite complex.
I've been told that symbols file works best for the C libraries.
