If some naive user does that[1] then surely it would be good to
install a frontend for them so that they have something that they can
use. A more knowledgable user will install their own choice of
frontend directly.

Can you explain cases where people will install libsword8 without
installing another frontend at the same time and when they don't want
one at all?

Afaict you have removed the provides from xiphos already which I would
guess means that you now get bibletime even if you have xiphos
installed already?

[1] Though they would be doing pretty well to find libsword8. ;)

P.S. biblememorizer isn't a full sword 'frontend' (it is a useful app
that uses sword) so it's doesn't/shouldn't provide sword-frontend, nor
should bibledit.
