OK, good.  Then there's really no "fork" type of situation here.  If 
those patches are needed for BPBible to run/function, then we could 
fairly easily cherry-pick them from SVN, apply them as patches to the 
1.5.11 release, and package/distribute that.

That still leaves the bindings-related packaging work, but at least we'd 
have only one library source code package base for all currently known 
applications that we're looking at packaging!

If the patches are just "nice to have" for BPBible, as opposed to 
necessary, then we should probably just stick with packaging the 
official 1.5.11 codebase, IMO.

Yes, I ignored everything under bindings/ in my first attempt packaging 
of sword-1.5.11.  Is anyone willing to pick this up and make a first 
attempt at packaging the bindings?   Norbert, is this something you 
could do, perhaps?
