It is no longer used, and should be removed from Debian unstable.  The 
2.0.1-1 packages currently sitting on my development box actually force 
its removal when bibletime-data is installed, which we *should* have 
done with the 2.0-1 packages but forgot... my mistake.

I'd suggest removing Gutsy-related info completely -- it is so old, and 
has already reached EOL, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases .

Not really, for Karmic -- BibleTime 2.0 is already *in* Karmic, so we 
shouldn't point Karmic users at our PPA, because they don't need it :)

BTW, more detailed info on BibleTime packages is at 
http://devel.bibletime.info/wiki/Packaging -- although updating the main 
web site info is a good idea too :)
