Upgrading to initramfs-tools 0.94 today made my boot fail with the
following message. (The system has an mdadm RAID with LUKS encryted LVM
partitions.)

        cryptsetup: lvm device name (dev/md1) does not begin with /dev/mapper/
        cryptsetup: evmc_activate is not available

After some time a BusyBox shell is started. You can assemble the RAID
array manually by for example

        $ mdadm --assemble --scan

and log out with Ctrl + d afterward.

I hope that will save someone some time.

Thanks,

Paul
