Hi,

I have the same problem. A fresh installation of cupsys result
in a not-starting situation. Downgrading to -10 doesn't work for
me. I have the following in the logs:

>From /var/log/cups/error_log:
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:17 +0200] Listening to 0:631
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:17 +0200] Loaded configuration file "/etc/cups/cupsd.conf"
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:17 +0200] Configured for up to 100 clients.
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:17 +0200] Allowing up to 100 client connections per host.
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:17 +0200] Full reload is required.
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:18 +0200] LoadPPDs: Read "/etc/cups/ppds.dat", 16 PPDs...
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:18 +0200] LoadPPDs: No new or changed PPDs...
I [05/Aug/2005:23:16:18 +0200] Full reload complete.
E [05/Aug/2005:23:16:18 +0200] StartListening: Unable to bind socket for address 00000000:631 - Address already in use.

Running with debug2 doesn't produce more relevant informations. But feel free to
contact me if you need the debug log.

But there is no process listen on this port. Maybe it try to bind to fast after
the reloading?

Regards,
Thorsten
