apt-get --download-only --reinstall install gs-esp
dpkg -i --force-confmiss /var/cache/apt/archives/gs-esp*.deb
should reinstall gs-esp including the missing conffile(s).
dpkg --force-help

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
