[Pkg-cups-devel] Bug#450484: cups: How to solve: "Printer not connected retry in 30 seconds"

Followup-For: Bug #450484

A solution to this bug is to add: MODE="0660" to this line:
KERNEL=="lp[0-9]*", SUBSYSTEMS=="usb",          GROUP="lp"
in the file: /etc/udev/rules.d/???permission.rules

Other people have reported that changing these parameters in cupsd.conf 
to "lp" has solved
the problem but not in my case:
User lp
Group sys
SystemGroup lpadmin

The above has been tested on three different laptops and two different 
usb printers.
