The lpoptions manual page says:

	If no options are specified using the -o option, then the current options for the named printer are reported on the standard
	output.

However, it does not work as documented:

	$ lpoptions -o
	Usage: lpoptions [-h server] [-E] -d printer
	       lpoptions [-h server] [-E] [-p printer] -l
	       lpoptions [-h server] [-E] -p printer -o option[=value] ...
	       lpoptions [-h server] [-E] -x printer
