Forwarded upstream.  In the interim we can patch out that block of
code.

Yes.  There are multiple drivers provided by gutenprint.  For example,
all the Foomatic drivers are using ijsgutenprint, entirely redundantly
since the cups-driver-gutenprint package does exactly the same thing,
but natively.  They are only really useful for LPRng, AFAIK.  Foomatic
is essentially a "meta-driver", it doesn't provide any drivers itself;
it's just (extremely hairy and complicated) glue.

OK, that makes sense.  It's probably been buggy for years, but the
information wasn't used until very recently.
