You are mixing packages from stable and unstable, which isn't always
guaranteed to work. For example, you have

> ii  debconf [debconf-2.0]  1.5.22

which is from 2008 and the message about sr at latin does not appear on a
up-to-date testing install.

Please consider an upgrade route to test and report back on the results
of it.
