autocreate bugs are known to be very insiduous to debug, and they maskarade
as non-patched Cyrus bugs :(  I am not against using the autocreate patch,
but I would prefer that we either don't have it at first, or that we somehow
build cyrus twice and generate one with and the other without such extra
patches.
