I don't like this either. May I suggest requesting that adduser supress
that warning for --system users? Or that it adds an option to supress that
warning?
If only people would deliver a dynamically-register-dir/files dpkg utility,
our packaging would be extremely more reliable without the need to wait for
hell-will-freeze-over-before-it-gets-deployed dpkg 2.0.
