Bug#418615: cyrus21-imapd crashes if nsswitch is configured with, ldap group support

I upgraded a box to Etch yesterday, and following was a complaint from a
user that she got errors about a connection dropped by the IMAP server
right after a ldap-user login in squirrelmail.

The logs show:

Sep 20 23:16:51 office cyrus/imapd[11411]: accepted connection
Sep 20 23:16:51 office cyrus/imapd[11411]: login: localhost[127.0.0.1]
someuser plaintext
Sep 20 23:16:51 office cyrus/master[11405]: process 11411 exited,
signaled to death by 6
Sep 20 23:16:51 office cyrus/master[11405]: service imap pid 11411 in
BUSY state: terminated abnormally

So another signal 6 case.

I just read #145766 related to this problem. Let me quote from that
bugreport:

"If I turn off nscd, and set
  passwd: files ldap
  shadow: files ldap
  group: files
then imapd works for users in /etc/passwd, but crashes after login for
users in LDAP. And here's the clincher: if I then turn on nscd, imapd
works fine for both kinds of users!"

This behaviour and solution to the crashing can exactly be reproduced
over here.
