Depends... in the 2.2 side, the BTS will tell you what needs to be done, so
you need just send _tested_ patches (to the BTS) and tell us about it, I
think.

In the 2.3 side, we need a sane way to not utterly break any systems running
2.2 that get upgraded to 2.3.  There are threads about it in the archives
for this ML...  note that it is not just Cyrus, berkeley DB upgrade of the
databases might need to be handled (or not, it is an open question).

You can also test whatever I manage to drop in SVN in the next few days and
report any bugs (with patches if possible).  I don't want to send it to SVN
without at least a reasonable description of what I did in the changelog.
