I've committed the patch and made other necessary changes.

I'm undecided here. I guess it's more consistent to have all module
packages named libsasl2-modules.* and another round through NEW might
not be as bad as it sounds. We do have work to do anyway, which could
take longer than NEW processing (or should, presuming NEW is getting
processed in a steady pace).

Yes, I agree. It's more important to move forward than solve upgrades in
experimental.
