Cool, I'll import last unstable version to git and import all svn diffs.

Done (in the prepared git), the most simplest solution is to check in
prerm (where all the files are still installed) if the sasldb2
database contains any users and if not just remove it. I took the code
from postinst.

I'll also improve the Berkeley DB upgrade code to not depend on debian
versions. I have a quite experience with that.

And in next pass I would like to convert the package to dh7.

After the I will add myself to uploaders and upload -9.

How does that sound?

I don't think we need conversion...  We can import the last package
and if we need we can go look into the old subversion repository.

The conversion is just too much trouble and the benefit is not big.
