[Pkg-db-devel] dropping some of db-packages?

I try to start with the easiest one, and that would be 4.0, as there is
no revers dependency except one utterly broken package. Any reason why
to keep db4.0 at all? Otherwise, I'd just remove it from sarge, and ask
the ftp-masters to do the same in sid.

For db4.1, would you agree that we should try to do the same with it
ASAP (but of course, that requires some more time)? In that case, I'll
try to convince the maintainers of the packages that still use it to
switch.


That would mean that we can drop at least two out of six versions, which
would be some major progress IMHO.
