Was the tarball in the correct location?

After I added it as dia-shapes/tarballs/dia-shapes_0.2.0.orig.tar.xz, it
worked for me. Please also commit it to the repo.

Do you mean the following?

W: dia-shapes source: newer-standards-version 3.9.3 (current is 3.9.2)
W: dia-shapes: copyright-without-copyright-notice
W: dia-shapes: possible-unindented-list-in-extended-description

"lintian -i ..." will give you some hints how to resolve, e.g. see
