Nope, I really meant lenny. There was no dspam in squeeze.

Only the database connection parameters are lost. Rest of the configuration is 
unchanged. So when the bug is encountered, it's still time to backup, purge 
and reinstall the package which will configure again some new connection 
settings and just copy/paste the changes previously made in the configuration 
and not related to the connection settings.
