When I had failing tests and could not resolve the issue myself I
submitted an upstream bugreport.

I had some good experience there. (And some less good, E upstream
somehow does not really get/support the idea of SKIPping (exit 77) a
test when the pre conditions are unavailable instead of FAILing the
complete testsuite.)
