Any idea why this truly antique bug was forwarded upstream anonymously?
There is no real point forwarding bugs against a 2002 version of gEDA
upstream, least of which doing so anonymously with no link back to the
original Debian bug.

A similar bug was fixed in the PADs backend, but I don't see one for the
protelII one.

Unless someone is willing to test any fix we produce, it would be
difficult to verify a bug-fix in this back-end targeting an old
commercial piece of software.
