Do you have any issues with other apps on your system?

gschem 1.6.0 uses cairo for rendering, but we've not found any problems
like you've reported before.

Does it look like a problem with text, or just lines? Perhaps you could
attach / link to a screen-shot of the bug.

Are you using a compositing window manager, such as compiz?
If so, does the bug go away when you disable it?

What video card / video drivers (2D) are you using?
