[Evolution] Bug#324697: evolution: Fails to honour the From address when choosing account to send mail through

Niall Donegan niall at moybella.net
Tue Aug 23 14:54:42 UTC 2005

Package: evolution
Version: 2.2.3-2
Severity: normal

When sending mail on Evolution where there are multiple accounts setup,
Evolution gives you the option when creating a new mail to select the From
address.

Unforunately, when it then tries the send the mail, it will attempt to relay
the mail through the Default account rather than the SMTP/Sendmail for the
account specified in the from address.

Unless the default outgoing method is an open relay, the sending of mail is
going to fail.
