I have turned off the "cursor blinking" setting via
gnome-keyboard-properties, which maps to the gconf path
/desktop/gnome/interface/cursor_blink. However, the cursor in the
Evolution message composer still blinks. I'm not sure whether this
behaviour is specific to Evolution or whether this is part of the
gtkhtml library.
