Hi,
> Did you try to run it through valgring to see the leaking component?

G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck
--leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --show-reachable=yes
--log-file=/tmp/evo-valgrind.log evolution --component=mail

log attached, looking at a couple of folders and messages.
It might be pango related maybe? I use pango from experimental.

Note that Ubuntu has similar bug reports which also have valgrind logs
attached, e.g.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/215925
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-data-server/+bug/219047

best regards,
Erich Schubert
