Additional information

I am able to retrieve the EWS folder sizes, both from the account setup
screen, and by right-clicking on the account name in the sidebar and
then clicking on "Folder sizes". I can break this by setting up bogus
values in the proxy configuration, so it seems that there is some sort
of connection being established.

Let me know if you need an Exchange mail account on our server for
testing.
