The exim4 configuration after the update, does not update the user settings
/ does not work right. I had to manually run update-exim4defaults, followed
by update-exim4.conf. I do not know if this was by design, as with my
previous upgrades they always ran update-exim4.conf for me. I am running
debian/testing on kernel 2.4.21 with debian patches and xfs patch.

Well this was half a year ago. There is realy no point in keeping this
bug open as I see zero chance to find the real cause or even to find out
whether it was a bug in the package at all.
