Package: exim4
Severity: normal

I've just installed Sarge using the 29/7 build of d-i.
Immediately after restarting it, I installed postfix:
apt-get --purge install postfix <etc>

postfix is installed and running, but still:
 1357 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/exim4 -bd -q30m

Doubtless restarting the system will curethe problem. According to
 lsof:
lsof: no pwd entry for UID 102
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE NODE NAME
lsof: no pwd entry for UID 102
 exim4 1357 102 cwd DIR 3,2 0 102097
 /var/spool/exim4 (deleted)
lsof: no pwd entry for UID 102
 exim4 1357 102 rtd DIR 3,2 1024 2 /
lsof: no pwd entry for UID 102
 exim4 1357 102 txt REG 3,2 640088 21525 /usr/sbin/exim4
 (deleted)

On reflection, perhaps postfix isn't working that well:
 Pademelon:~# telnet 127.0.0.1 25
 Trying 127.0.0.1...
 Connected to 127.0.0.1.
