The code change that makes the outgoing interface address and port
available in the expansion of helo_data has now been committed to the
upstream CVS. See http://www.exim.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=431#c2
for an example of how this can be used.

It is up to the packaging team if they want the Debian package to help
the user with this configuration, since the default value of helo_data
will stay as "$primary_hostname".
