[Pkg-exim4-users] has local_scan_path support been removed from exim?

i recently updated my debian box (which uses the unstable distribution)
and it complained about the local_scan_path line in my configuration:

Restarting MTA: 2005-03-01 06:47:13 Exim configuration error in line 75
of /etc/exim4/exim4.conf:
  main option "local_scan_path" unknown

the config line is:
local_scan_path = /usr/lib/exim4/local_scan/sa-exim.so

i had not seen this problem before...
after reading up on the feature (again), it is a patch available from:
http://marc.merlins.org/linux/exim/files/sa-exim-current/debian/README.Debian

previously, i got that feature for free, i believe. i don't think i've
ever compiled my own exim in order to enable the dlopen patch.
was it removed? do i need to be recompiling my own version of exim now?

the versions i'm using are (from dpkg):
ii exim4 4.50-2 metapackage to ease exim MTA (v4)
installati
ii exim4-base 4.50-2 support files for all exim MTA
(v4) packages
ii exim4-config 4.50-2 configuration for the exim MTA (v4)
ii exim4-daemon-h 4.50-2 exim MTA (v4) daemon with extended
features,
ii sa-exim 4.2-1 Use SpamAssassin at SMTP time with
the Exim

should i submit a bug report on this, since it seems to be a change in
what's supported by the heavy version of the daemon?

thanks,
fred.
