[Pkg-exim4-users] exim seems to ignore /etc/email-addresses

I think so too. But actually it doesn't on my system.

I wrote a message with mutt to my other email
bernd.schoebel at phil.stud.uni-erlangen.de. But it was rejected because
exim tried to send it as lix at gmx.de which is not the correct address. It
should have used my.email at gmx.de. The gmx SMTP-Server claimed that it
was a differnet loggedin user.

I hope, I made the problem clear now.
