but have you thought about trac -- what is it missing? seems to have
wiki (based on it actually), git module, ticket system... is in debian,
should be easy to roll out your own server with it?

I didn't check the policy but I saw quite a few projects which are
hosted on alioth and which are not debian-centric: e.g. minicom

yeah -- that would be one of the disadvantages to have everything on
alioth but wiki elsewhere (with separate authentication)

well -- you can mention while requesting the project that originally
pkg-exppsy was created to host pyepl but it became much wider project,
thus you need to split it away.
