Heh, heh.

They state on their webpage:

|  Talairach.nii is a NIfTI image that contains the Talairach label data,
|  which are stored as text in the extension section of the image.

But:

michael at populus:(git)~/pynifti:data[master]$ nifti_tool -disp_exts -infiles talairach.nii
header file 'talairach.nii', num_ext = 0

;-)

I will continue with my self-made extension file, but a proper one
generated by some other software than nifti_tool is very welcome.
